With holistic and alternative healthcare, natural remedies, such as plants, herbs, and essential oils are taken from nature and used for their benefits.
With western medicine, a natural product is taken from nature and altered in a laboratory. With this alteration the drug companies can now have a patent which opens the door to create millions or even billions in profits. After a drug is created it must be tested for safety and efficacy by the drug company that seeks to profit from it.
Holistic and natural remedies will be direct from nature and will create simple solutions to help the body restore balance and help the patients heal themselves.
Pharmaceutical drugs will be created in a laboratory and extensively studied. Once approved by the Food and Drug Administration, they can be sold on the market and advertised extensively to create hype that will lead to millions and billions in revenue.
